Hello Month of May
After the King’s Coronation celebration long weekend we would like to congratulate King Charles and Queen Camilla and now look forward to a lovely summer time. We have plenty of exciting new fashion, jewellery and gift arrivals plus events planned at a Raft so please read on:
Fun facts for May
The second month of Spring, May, is known for its eccentricities in the UK - Maypoles, Morris Dancing and cheese rolling competitions!
The Eurovision Song Contest is always held in May and this year the final is in Liverpool on May 13th.
The flower for May is the Lily of the Valley and the May birthstone is Emerald - see below for some gorgeous earrings with semi precious stones set in solid silver and click here for a link to our silver earrings.

Fashion Show
We are hosting a Fashion Show at our Ledbury Shop 🏬 on Thursday 25th May at 6-30pm
In aid of St Michael’s Hospice, the tickets are £7-50 each (cash only please) and to reserve a place, please call Ledbury shop on 01531 634566 or pop and see us in store. Limited spaces/tickets so hurry and get yours for a fun filled evening and lots of fashion ideas fur the summer.
The Style Consultation days have been very successful and Ledbury is hosting another one on June 8th. Click here for the link to more information. Michelle Blake O’Brien of MB Associates is amazing and you can book a one to one for an hour with her - she will advise you on shapes and colours to wear for your body architecture and your colouring. Also guaranteeing a bit of fun at Raft.

Recipe for May
Pea, baby broad bean and asparagus Frittata
1 red onion
1 tbsp olive oil
4oz frozen peas, 4oz frozen baby broad beans, 8 stems of asparagus
6 eggs beaten
tbsp fresh or dried sage
2/3 oz of Parmesan or strong cheddar, grated
Method:fry the sliced onion in the olive oil for 5 mins
Mix the peas, broad beans, half the cheese and onion into the eggs and cook in a frying pan for 5 mins - medium heat
When starting to set add the asparagus and cook for 5 mins more then sprinkle the rest of the cheese over and put uncertain s medium grill until browned.
Serve with a rocket salad.
